The Human Services Counsellor Diploma at Oulton College is a 15 month program designed to prepare students for impactful careers supporting individuals, families, and communities facing mental health, social, or emotional challenges. Through intensive training in counselling skills, trauma informed care, crisis intervention, behavioural support, community development, and social policy (along with various certifications), graduates learn to provide compassionate support, advocacy, and hands on assistance. The program includes classroom instruction, hands on learning, community volunteering, and field placements, offering practical experience before entering the workforce. |
